Hey pals, most of you know me as Tai. I’m a 22 year old queer undocumented latinx femme and aspiring novelist, and I’m currently fucking panicking because my health insurance contract just ended. I have Type 1 diabetes, so my body depends on medication that’s vital to my life. I’m on a work visa that expires in a few months, and it’s the only documentation keeping me safe and “legal” in the eyes of the country. This year I’m hoping to complete my green card process so that I can reside in this country for good. My work contract from my last job also ran out and as an immunocompromised person, I’ve struggled to find safe work during this pandemic. I am not eligible for financial aid from the government. This is time sensitive.
I’m just looking for support to help me with funding by diabetes meds. This is hugely time sensitive.

okay so a lot of you know my bf is a narcissist & an alcoholic, but his abuse has gotten worse and i don’t have the funds to leave. after he found out i was making plans, he snapped and bruised my arm badly today. i fear for my safety. need moving /motel fees so i can stay with family in georgia. i really would like to get out this weekend. anything helps but my goal is 300 for a couple nights hotel, food, and gas.

Ty to everyone who has reblogged previous versions of this post, and to folks who are new: my wife and i are two disabled bi trans folks of color, and our disabilities make it extremely difficult to find consistent work. as a result, we need help affording basic necessities as well as things like bills and other emergency expenses. on top of all that, our household of predominantly Black disabled trans folks have been served an eviction and our mediation hearing is next week (Aug. 5th, 2022). we urgently need folks’ support to help both my wife and i get through the next few weeks, as well as to make sure my family can survive beyond our current housing crisis.

guess who is still in need of help??? its me! i need to raise $150 ASAP to take miss b to the groomers, as even though we brush her bear daily, her previous owners seem to have been less diligent, which has caused a massive buildup of shed undercoat+what looks like matting around her lower back. i found a local groomer who can help but it is Not cheap. i also have my phone bill due 8/23 ($110), and i just need general survival funds (mostly for transportation, as being a full-time wheelchair user makes getting around the city more expensive, especially when your city’s public transit system has become almost non-functional). overall i need to raise $260 for upcoming bills+expenses, and any additional money will go towards paying for rides to and from doctors appointments. i will probably be redoing this post soon, so keep an eye out for that, thanks so much!
For reasons that I shan’t say our house is full of Freon gas right now, which is toxic and potentially lethal! We would like to take the cats and go to a hotel for the night but we’re piss broke.

My roomate and I got news that the final paperwork we need to fill out to get the check from my relatives will has arrived. This means its about 2 weeks at most till we get the check and about a month at most, till we will be in an apartment.
We were able to get food, so I’m no longer starving to keep my roomate fed while he’s so sick. His antibiotics arrived so hopefully he’ll improve soon.
We are already behind on the hotel bill again though, and we have barely gotten d0nations at all in the past few days. Things are urgent again, and we are desperately trying to stay safe until we get into an apartment. All d0nations will go to food and hotel/storage bills, or when possible other necessities, like masks, because we have needed to replace our masks for over a month now and we are both severely immunoconpromised. Please d0nate or share if you can’t!!! We are so close to being okay. And please do not speculate about this being a scam, just ask me for fucking proof, I can get pics of the hotel billing, have storage billing screenshots, etc etc.

remaking a 7th time to hide from the algorithm: dani is not eligible for ei anymore because she hasn’t been paid by an employer for over a year. normally that isn’t the case so we had no idea we had to prepare for that. luckily, she will be receiving 3 backlogged cerb cheques at some point, but we have no way to know when or how much they will be. recently, the govt has announced that cerb will restart “soon” but its not clear when or how long it’ll last, and she can’t go back to work til late spring/early summer.
meanwhile, we have only my small income to support 3 pets and 2 people (and occasionally her family who make us help with household needs for them) and we sadly have some kind of expensive needs, between my dietary needs and the pets’ supplies.

Howdy y’all, I hate to ask cause I know times are tough for everyone, but my job hasn’t let me take a shift in almost a month now, and I was already worried about money before that since we didn’t have much work around holiday times, and now I have less than $100 in my account. Luckily I don’t have a ton of expenses right now, but I’m savin to move in with friends before I get kicked out, and I could really use a hand while I look for a new job, if anyone could reblog or send a couple bucks my way, I’d really appreciate it.

so my dads long covid has taken a turn for the worst, his hospice nurse called in with covid, and we have to get there this weekend to take care of him and get his will in order. i got a little money from him for it but could use a couple extra hundred in case we get fucked over again. we can probably pay you back next month. anything helps.
